DreamQuest by Brent Hartinger

Julia Fray's parents fight all the time. Every night, Julie has terrible nightmares about her parents fighting. But when a portal opens, Julie is brought to Slumberia, where dreams are made. She sets out to find the people who make the dreams, and stop them. But when the actor who plays Julie escapes through the portal and to our world, Julie must stop her.
I like this book because nobody knows how you come up with dreams in your head, but this is an interesting story about a different way of seeing it.

Hunter Brown and the Secret of the Shadow by the Miller Brothers

Hunter Brown is an ordinary high school boy, but he is a prankster. When he plays the ultimate prank, things go wrong. He is thrown into an adventure involving a book, a creater, and a girl named Hope. Hope lives in another world, Solandria,  that has been taken over by the Shadow. Soon Hunter realizes that he must help rid Solandria of the Shadow.
I like this book because it has adventure and action, but is a Christian book. If you read it and are a Christian you will see the connection. But if you are not a Christian, you would think of it as just a book.
If you read it, tell me ina comment if you could see what I was talking about.

But Dwight says he is not doing it! So Tommy decides to create a "case file" to try to figure out if Yoda really uses the force, or if he is a big phony. I like this book because it is hilarious! I advise this book to all ages, especially Star Wars fans.

But when they are sent to live with a Grandma whom they believed dead, Sabrina has her doubts. But when Granny Relda reveals a secret about the Brothers Grimm, Sabrina and Daphne have to go on a quest to find there parents, and save their new home. This book is chockful of classic fairytale creatures, and anyone who loves fantasy woud love this book. I recomend this book to all ages, even though it is a tiny bit scary to soe people.

The Museum of Mary Child by Cassandra Golds

Heloise lives with her mean and demanding godmother.  She lives next to a museum she has never entered. Although she really wishes for one, her godmother does not allow her to make friend's or have a doll. One day she finds a doll and  plays with it in secret. When her godmother finds out, all the secrets surrounding Heloise's past are revealed. I recommend this to fourth and fifth graders, but it doesn't matter. I like this book because it is slightly creepy, but very entertaining. If dolls freak you out, don't read this.

First Post

This is my first post, so I figured I should tell you what kind of blog this is. I am going to write summary on books that I have read, and rate them according to my opinion.
Most of the books I read are for fourth grade and up, but if you think it sounds good anyone can read it. I will tell you what reading level I think it is, but like I said, if you like it read it. No matter what age, make sure to read the summary. The reason I say that is just because you like the title, doesn't mean you will like the book.

First Post

This is my first post, and I figured you should know that this is a book blog. I will write reviews on books I have read, and rate them. They will mostly be for fourth grade and up, but some of them can be for third and second graders too. I read a wide variety of books, so makew sure you read the reviewsI will tell you my suggested age group, but you don't have to follow my suggestion.
