The Museum of Mary Child by Cassandra Golds

Heloise lives with her mean and demanding godmother.  She lives next to a museum she has never entered. Although she really wishes for one, her godmother does not allow her to make friend's or have a doll. One day she finds a doll and  plays with it in secret. When her godmother finds out, all the secrets surrounding Heloise's past are revealed. I recommend this to fourth and fifth graders, but it doesn't matter. I like this book because it is slightly creepy, but very entertaining. If dolls freak you out, don't read this.

First Post

This is my first post, so I figured I should tell you what kind of blog this is. I am going to write summary on books that I have read, and rate them according to my opinion.
Most of the books I read are for fourth grade and up, but if you think it sounds good anyone can read it. I will tell you what reading level I think it is, but like I said, if you like it read it. No matter what age, make sure to read the summary. The reason I say that is just because you like the title, doesn't mean you will like the book.

They will mostly be for fourth grade and up, but some of them can be for third and second graders too. I read a wide variety of books, so makew sure you read the reviews.  I will tell you my suggested age group, but you don't have to follow my suggestion.
